A big week for catalog titles, highlighted by Criterion’s 4K of Thelma & Louise and Kino beating Criterion to a 4K of The Night of the Hunter, which I’m sure looks goddamn incredible in that (or any) format. There’s also format upgrades for Peter Greenaway’s Drowning by Numbers, The People Under the Stairs, the Jerry Lewis Nutty Professor, and the Lili Taylor The Haunting. New titles are mostly an afterthought other than the Game Night guys’ latest pleasant surprise, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and 65, whose high-concept asks the question “how did they get Adam Driver to agree to do this?”.
