New on DVD and Blu-Ray

A mammoth week for boutique labels, if not so much for the studios (I’m trusting/hoping there’s no intersection of the Venn diagram of readers of this website and people who’ll buy The Secrets of Dumbledore). We’ve got two 4K remasters of 90s crime classics, though putting the very-good True Romance in the same breath of Out of Sight is already doing it a disservice. There’s box sets devoted to sexploitation director Doris Wishman and pioneering queer independent filmmaker Arthur J. Bressan Jr. And Criterion gives us both The Worst Person in the World and the filthiest people alive.
