Not a ton to report on this week, the best of the pack is easily Criterion’s release of Streetwise, the acclaimed 80s documentary on homeless kids, and its 30-years-later companion film. I’m sure Universal releasing the complete series of Parks and Recreation on Blu-Ray will lead to yet more discussions of “nicecore” art and the blind optimism of the Obama era, and that’s just fine. But before you start those conversations, please watch the teaser trailer for Wolfgang Petersen’s In the Line of Fire, out this week on 4K. It is the greatest trailer I’ve ever seen, and if you watch it, I don’t think you will disagree.
