Star Wars. It’s pretty much just Star Wars this week, since the other major studios have largely decided to lay down and die instead of directly face it in the home-video market. This leaves me just a bit of a disadvantage for writing about this week, considering I’m one of the nine people left on planet Earth who haven’t yet watched The Force Awakens, so I’ll leave any discussion on that to you guys and the picture below the listing. Besides that, well, Arrow continues to do a bang-up job, here in the U.S. and abroad, of bringing works of important auteurs to Blu-Ray, especially with their UK releases of important films by Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Francesco Rosi. And if you want to see a key player in Star Wars embarrass himself along with a host of others reading nonsense by the writer of The Departed, then Mojave is probably your bag.
