Here is the list for the 2018 Movie Gifts exchange!
You will GIVE a movie recommendation to the name AFTER yours. Please post your gift to them in a timely manner in case they need to return. You will RECEIVE a movie recommendation from the name before yours. Once you have received your gift please confirm that you have received it or notify them of a return.
Returns: You may “return” your gift if you’ve already seen it or have a visceral content concern around watching it. You do not have to give a reason for the return but please do not return just because you don’t think you’ll like it. If your gift is returned please make a new recommendation in a timely manner so it can be confirmed or returned. Any other details can be worked out between you and your gifter/ee.
Optional Theme: Share Your Home. Relate the title to your area of the world, your household, your extended family. Up to you if you want to reveal the personal connection upon giving or unwrapping or if you even want to use this as a theme (if you want to recommend Ravenous I’m not going to make you pretend your family eats human flesh or something).
The goal is to have gifts finalized by the end of this Friday (December 5th).
You will have two weeks to watch. After watching, please do not post your reactions until the Unwrapping article (currently scheduled for Friday, December 21).
This list was chosen using a random list generator that claims to use “atmospheric noise” as its engine, so if you have complains, please take them up with the wind. (I did double-check that nobody was giving to the same person as last time and I don’t believe anybody is).
