It is, my friends, that time again—time for our annual Intersectional Femivision! This is our annual go at making a space for voices outside the traditional male scope of criticism and establishment of The Film Canon by limiting contributions to women and those who don’t identify on a gender binary. We have been doing this since 2019 now, and there is still more to discuss and still will be even after this year.
I would also like to note that, if you are not out about your gender identity and don’t want to be outed by writing for this site, we will work with you. You can contact one of our regular contributors, and they will happily post for you under your chosen pseudonym. You can use this as your space to explore how your gender identity relates to things marketed for you, talk about something you only discovered in NB- or female-dominated spaces, or just talk about a work you think belongs in the canon because you think it belongs there. We’re open for you, too!
