- Women in Cinema festival happens this weekend with a lot of films to be found at this link. Special note directors or producers will be in attendance at Misconception, Kelly & Cal, Stray Dog, and The Last Season
- Sagrada: Mystery of Creation continues
- Tuesday, David Bowie Is… screens
- Wednesday is a one-time screening of My America, various monologues directed by Hal Hartley
- Saturday, at the Film Center, The Big Lebowski is getting a six-hour dissection
- Saturday and Sunday, Memphis screens
- Monday, First Draft is a reading of a first draft screenplay with commentary
- Monday also brings a screening of Night Moves
- Tuesday, Film Scoring does a 3 hour examination of Chinatown
OK, I know I shouldn’t kvetch with this embarassment of riches, but I want to go to The Big Lebowski thing and go see some of the Women in Cinema screenings. I want to go to First Draft and also go to the NWFF meeting. Why does everything have to happen at once?
